Keith Bush got in trouble with the IRS, then Bob Dell, the guy on the far left with the beard, bought it from Bush. I was working at the Hayward BART repair yard and met Bob Dell who works there. The Dart is still being raced in Northern California. Cl*** unknown.

The carburated Chrysler fuel dragster belonged to Nick Van Wagner, sponsored by Isky and Blair's...I used to crew on it..Van Wagner built the car himself though it looks like a Ch***is Research car...he occasionally beat the blown cars...he was always on the ragged edge financially, and finally quit racing...no idea what happened to him.....this shot is at San Gabriel.

Hi, first post here, this thread is the BEST. was hoping someone might have pics of drag racing at the old military Air Base in Charlestown, R.I....Fort Ninigret maybe? Late 50's , early 60's I'd say. Or howabout the strip that was in Colchester, CT.?

This shot is telling me about a wonderful time living in a perfect era. The landscape the cars and the ladies in the Ranchero....how about the perfect Dragster and Drag coupe? Breathtaking Thank you.
