I've never seen someone that studdered when they typed... I just got off of the phone with Bad Bob, and he will be at the breakfast too. I'm sure between him and I, there will be plenty of pictures. .

With the end of the month coming up are the monthly banger meetings going to continue on the HAMB or merge onto one of the new Social Groups that are forming. Any ideas?
Please leave it on the main board..... we ALL know how to do that. I have never figured out how to post photos on the 'Social Side' We can all find the last page ....... you know little thinks like that.

Regarding the Banger social group. How about an Avatar picture for the group. We seem to be one of the only ones without a picture now. Elrod...?? Anybody got any ideas for a picture to use?
Why not use the Bangers and mash picture that was to go on the T shirts? Any progress on the shirts yet?
Pros and cons of both, but there's so much activity on these monthly threads anymore (this will be post 352) that they stay relatively near the top & if you search banger, it's always in the top 2 or 3 hits...easy to find.
Guys wondering if you could tell me what you think of a mid 20's Chev 2 port head on a model A banger, w one 94, and a bit of a grind on the flywheel, and a cam (street grind). I have a line on all of these parts, thinking of building a banger powered 'glass 23 roadster, on 27 Chev rails. Use up some of the bits around the shed, and build me a zip-code car - to go to work in.

blow my head gasket on my A last week I have a new head off my parts engine with a stock looking head it had a cast date of 1-9-40 has the heart shaped port like the 5.5to1 comp. any one know how much I can cut the head and still be safe. thanks Bill
Hey, Tub in the dirt, I woulda answered your questions about the Riley but don't know how to work the "new" Social thing. I have a 2 port running and just picked up my 4 port from Taylors this AM. My 2 port has the deck plugs pressed in and my 4 port,an old sprint car engine, has the deck plugs brazed in. I use the self locking lifters and replace the adjusting screw with an allen bolt that I run a radius tool into for the push rod lower end as my pushrods are adjustable on the top. I hope you understand that last sentence as I don't.
