    OK, here's my first offering. Go easy on me. The first time I tried the metal flake affect too. I tried to go with more of a copper color you wanted. I hope I didn't screw up your car too bad! Hooligan63!
    I guess you've got to do to learn....

    I couldn't stand the top and scallops on the last try, it looked like 80 grit sandpaper or cinnamon toast...:rolleyes:. I've got to work on my "scalloping skills".

    I hear ya James D, that deep maroon paint looks great on this caddy.

    Out of curiosity I'd like to see what some of you can come up with as far as a custom look...

    That looks pretty evil. Thanks.

  14. What a great looking pickup.

  15. Okay guys and gals, this might be too much of a project,but I thought I'd ask. For years I've had this crazy idea, since the roof on my 29 Chevrolet is a separate piece already, of making Chevy's interpretation of a Convertible Sedan (think A-400 or B-400 Ford) plus earlier style Americans. I'd love to draw it as a Concept Drawing, but thanks to the injury to my writing, drawing hand, it's looking like my drawing days are gone:(. I've posted some idea pics and colours, since I'm leaning towards blk/blk, blk/tan or burgandy/tan combos. Sorry the picture of my Chev isn't the best.

    I have held off on thread because it has gotten so long, but now I want in. So, here's what i've got;
    How about bright red maybe some cream scallops, black wire wheels or steel wheels and another with Moon discs, blackwalls, side panels on the hood leaving the exhaust.
    Thanks in advance

  24. Quicky - those taillights need help! Paint it a dark colour to hide the four doors a bit.

    Okay, the first thing I see is that the greenhouse is way too tall, so...

    Get rid of the bolts on the flare/skirts, sombrero on the front, a wide white on the back.:D
