After alot of thought... I traded the "Dirt Dobber" for a project. Like I needed another project.... I have been on the road for 2 days now and now have my new '31 sedan project in Ooltewah. I traded with kwiksilver (Hamb guy). Here's pics of the trade.... Can't wait to get this one going. Kevin Ooltewah Speed Shop
Thanks on the shop... Its a work in progress. The dog is "Clutch" he's the shop foreman. Great dog!!! Alot of changes lately. Sold the Edsel, traded the Rambler, and now the new A model. Gotta get to work on my new shop truck too. Kevin Ooltewah Speed Shop
I did 4" on mine... I'm channeled 4" too... I'm 5'-11" and there is not a lot of room left in there.... But 5" looks pretty mean. I think 65Impala did 5" on his... Looks killer!
Thanks on the dog, he's by buddy. He loves hanging out in the garage. I'm thinking about angle chopping this thing. Maybe 4" to 5" in the front??? Any suggestions or pics of angle chopped sedans would be appreciated. I've always loved the '67-'72 Chevy trucks, so when I decided to trade my shop truck for the sedan I got a '69 Chevy SWB. Haven't touched it yet, but this week it will get some attention. It's a little out of range for the HAMB but I'll still put some pics on my profile when I get them. Later, Kevin
The nice thing about a sedan is that when chopped a good amount, you can still strech out inside, take it from me, in the middle of a newly aquired 34 pickup I'm envious of the coupes and sedans when it comes to interior space.
I put some stripes on the grill shell. Can't have a '32 grill without pinstripes. Anyway, back to work. I've gotta get one of these things running. It's bad when I have to borrow the wifes Hot Rod because all of mine are in pieces. Later, Kevin
Here's some more eye candy to go along with the project.... Aluminum Trick Flow 195 runner heads. It's gonna be a beast. Kevin Ooltewah Speed shop
Got any pics yet? Glad I'm not the only HAMBer that loves '67-'72 trucks. I am in the middle of my '68 C10 longbed build. Ended up doing a frame off build. In the wings once this is done, my '30 A Tudor. Pics of my truck build can be found at http://gallery.lisaandmike.org/68truck
