see how not to weld http://jalopnik.com/photogallery/epicfaildiyturbo/1007634853 so bad, I had to share
In order for everyone to throw up without having to click a link........ and this was the pretty one. Whoever sold this man a welding setup needs to be whipped with a greasy, rusty chain.
This is some good engineering here. Maybe you could put those lift blocks on top of the spring to put the body three feet below ground to be even lower than the guys that "lay frame".
That car reminds me of the scene in "Ole Yeller", where the boy has to go out and put his dog down. I cried when I saw that too...
Unbelievable - It's really bad on the headers, but to do that kind of welding on a vintage car is appalling. If you don't have basic good welding skills go to a trade school or two year college and take a welding class. Very uncool work......... CRUISER
I've some stupid crap, but would never post it on the net for others to ridicule. Great laugh for a dull thursday!
It must suck to bust up your knuckles and have to get a tetanus shot whenever you wipe your car down, eh?
That shit will grind out. Sadly, most of this lameness is still better than my horrible welding, but I ain't showing you no pics of my expertise, that's for damn sure. I grind out my welds to hide them before anyone gets a chance to see the really ugly parts. But, I make sure I penetrate the crap out of whatever I am welding. It just doesn't look pretty when I am finished with it. At least not until I am done with the grinder.
Surprising that all of these have been posted before..............except for Mazoomas Winfieldesque work.
The millwright that started me on welding told me the difference between an average welder and a good welder was a grinder. That may not be "entirely" true, but it's not entirely untrue either...
Dang !!! I just lost my title as World's Worst Welder !!!! I guess I always knew I'd be deposed one day .
