I went to move a truck for a guy and bring it to Cape Cod MA. This is the story the truck was the ladys father's. And the lady worked for this guy years ago so he had seen the truck in the garage 25 years ago and asked if she ever wanted to sell it to let him know. He got a phone call about 8 months ago saying that it was ready to be sold. Then he called me through a friend to go pick it up. So off with truck and trialer and of course the camera. I pull up the the house and get out he opens up the garage door and here is a 1949 GMC 1/2 ton panel truck parked in there. The truck was parked in there in 1963 and not been out or seen. It is a one owner truck he was a plumber and this is a great truck in absolutely great shape with no rust and all original paint work. Just look at this this is the great original 50's plumber truck. Sorry so far it is not for sale but. I did try to buy it but he wouldn't take my offer yet. remember this has been parked since 1963. This was in Moonachie New Jersey

Garage, barn, whatever it is a find. Your might not look if it said garage. The thing is i wanted to let people see the truck and not be critisized about where it was found!

It was a joke, they refer to Shakespeare as "The Bard". I wasn't putting you down at all, just a joke. A joke that lost all its humor when I had to explain it, but don't worry, I'll be okay...:D

That is a great find, I think I would have to leave it as it is. I wouldn't change the paint at all, new tires and get her runnin and cruise her around

being it's an old plumbers truck you better wear a belt and suspenders when you drive it. don't want to get plumbers **** crack.

Might be nice to type up a do***ent with the trucks history, if the wife can remember like hen it was purchased and from what dealer, when it got its sign painting, and maybe who did it, then have her sign at date it. Not often you find a 60 year old one owner vehicle of any description. Hope it doesn't get turned in to a 4wd drive beach fishing rig like is so common on the cape.

  29. Thats some funny ****!
