    Hoodlums = goofy meatheads
    Suedes / Hot Rods more appropriate
    otherwise pics are cool
    Black is a poor choice of color unless you are a downer and think your cool but you aren't. Taupe / Blue / off red better

    Please, lets not start screwing up the FAS with a lot of non car art posts. I was one who defended photography as art a while back, but I'm beginning to think we should separate it now. I'm an amateur photographer, and have my Flickr account and all that, and really love GOOD photography, but I now think I'd prefer to see a separate Friday Photo Show. This is not intended to offend anyone, there are a lot of great photographers on the HAMB, and I think a Photo show would actually encourage more of them to post their shots. For instance, I am a pretty good amateur, and am fairly adept at PS, HDR, even have a wacom, and most of the other stuff, but I wouldn't post my photos here, because I just don't feel that it is art at the same level as the art we expect on the FAS, but I probably would post it in a photo show, even though it still doesn't rise to the same level as some I've seen here.
    I'm trained in both art and photography and respect both as separate medium, I just think they belong in different categories. I hope this doesn't offend anyone, it's not intended to.(well for the most part anyway ;))
    Just think about it, I think a weekly photo show (with some limits) would be great.
    But please, lets not clog this thread with a debate.

    There are rules for whatever form of Art that is posted in the FAS.
    If you move the Photo's out they will have to have the same rules.

    Beyond that, if you don't get the concept and need to read the rules, you shouldn't be posting anyway.

  23. The rules say....keep it auto/hot rod/kustom kulture oriented...simple enough

    Agreed. There is nothing wrong with the art show how it is.

    Folks that think so, can piss off. :)

    This is to SHOW a little of the progression of the one painting I posted earlier.
    I don't have earlier than this because just for each of these 3 paintings they had to be scanned in 8 sections each, and re-assembled in Photoshop.
    That was a bunch of scanning and piecing together.
    Just thought some may find this a bit interesting to see. Even after the last one some minor changes were made.
