Got a couple of hours in at the All American Day, for most of you yanks this will be normal tin, but don't forget the majority of this stuff has been imported to huge costs to the owners as alot wasn't for sale locally.

loved seeing this, my old man and I wondered how they got it here as it looked to be too wide for a 40' container, man it was big,

this was ultra cool 'the light from mars' sounds like a 50's sci-fi movie.

    too cool.

Thanks for the pics Corey, Good to see at least one Rocket there.

  5. Great pics Flatoz! That Lincoln is super sweet, ooooh a 414ci flattie (Damn Rod Hadfield!). Those two White Effie's are real show stealer's too.
At least we can appreciate all of them, rare cars here.
    Thanks,
    Doc.

geezus Doc, read the ***le :)

    remember melbourne cup...

stovebolt, I was looking at that, nice, SUPER nice car, but just a bit off with that extended engine bay, you could see all of the bellhousing, looked odd, had a QC out the back, got the feeling the guy had $$$. Didn't crawl all over it, but the flathead got my attention of course...

meant to add, the '32 is a dearborn deuce body too.

Oz, thanks for the photos. It's nice to know that America is still thought of in a pleasant way by others in the rest of the world such that they would have a car show featuring our cars. It gets really old when, generally, all we here is what a bunch of SOB's we all are.

I especially liked the lead-off photo of the turquoise '64 Dodge Polara 500 convert! My favorite car, outside of the Model K Lincoln. That car is a rare sight even here in the states. Do you know what was the asking price for this beauty? Was it a big block or an old style 318" poly motor? Just curious...

Sorry Don't know I looked at the board you can see just in the left hand corner. My old man might chime in he probably looked closer.

As for the engine, I would be guessing, but looking at the licence plates I'm guessing a big block.

  17. You Aussies have some beautiful machines. American or otherwise.
It's like being at just about any car show here. I know you have tougher laws than we do. Maybe your average rod is a step above some of the ones here.
    Great pics

Yep I was looking at the sign while flatoz was taking the pic. He had to wait for me to get out of the way LOL. Price was A$38000 and it was a 383 car which had been fully done. Was still LHD which most of the imports are nowadays as we are allowed LHD on anything 25 years or older. Don't know how they got on with that Cobra flatoz posted as it was listed as a 2005 model and was still LHD.

  27. Nice pics Corey...one of my favourite shows...

  28. And some of those killer boats....krazy !! That souped up Y block is the tastiest Y block Ive ever seen.

Very very nicely done with period angled intake and exhaust manifolds. Simply beautiful workmanship on it and the rest of the boat too !!
