Nothing nice just a 76 Coronet Brougham, Maroon exterior, interior and a 360...Had lots of fun though
1966 Ford Galaxie 2dr hardtop...Dad bought it new....Still have the window sticker...$3300.00....289/ cruiso-matic.....Changed it from bench to 64 T-bird buckets, '63 Galaxie console, added power windows, slotted mags, ghost flames by "Got'cha".....Finally sold it in 1987......Wish I had it back........
I had 6 cars before graduating High school, but the one I drove the most was my 1957 Chevy Sedan Delivery. I bought the body from the back lot at Stick City on Whittier Blvd in 1974. It had a bunch of high-winding 331 small blocks (.030 over 327) that parts routinely escaped from the bottom somehow, usually at open night at Irwindale or at the Box Factory late night racing in Whittier. But the best was the curtains and no windows, padded back in fur and diamond tuck and unsuspecting young things...in High School...ya know..wink, wink, nod, nod....
Wasn't too long ago for me, but it was my 94 Jeep Wrangler YJ... Haha! 4 banger baby! But hey... it gets me where I wanna go... and then some!
Black/Black 1964 Ford Galaxie 500 XL Hardtop HP 390 four speed. And moved onto 1967 Mustang "S" code 390 four speed what else Black/Black and made a TON of money because nobody respected a FORD 390. But if you added some headers and the right cam it would go OK. And always paid for my own cars the old fashioned way WORKED for the money.
White 1963 Comet S22 two door hard top with a 260 v8 and 4 speed. Sold it in 83 bought a black one in 86 still got it.

1948 willys jeep station wagon 2wd with a 259 stude v8,4 bbl, 3spd.,od. early 50's ford rear with 4.11 gears. I had a lot of fun with it and it would move pretty good with the gears. Going fast around corners was an adventure with the transverse spring front end.
1974 I had the oldest car in school... a 1937 Chevy Paid $400 Had the CB whip antenna on rear bumper for a while Still have it...sadly is out to pasture
usually it was a BlueBird, sometimes it was buddies' cars or the chicks down the street. no car for me until college. i was registered to drive my Dad's '60 F100 but the opportunity never came. our HS didn't allow students to ride bikes (pedal powered) to school (WTF?) in those days, so my StingRay Schinn 5speed stayed home. if i knew then what that bike would be worth today.......
1960 Morris Minor convertible. then later a 1958 Morris Minor saloon Man I love those Minors... and of course I was building a Model A coupe with a BB Chevy.
a 67 Chevelle SS396 auto. I ran a smallblock in it through highschool. I built a couple of bigblocks for it the last one being a .060 427,11.5 TRWs, rectangle port heads, Phase III L-88 cam, torker intake, TH400...I can go on and on. I sold it in '95 less motor...I wish I'd kept it.
I drove this car all through high school. Class of '99. '67 Impy more-door. I skipped school one day and happened to see it parked on the side of the road for sale. Stopped to check it out and saw the big block and the flames and I was sold!! I still have it today and drive in on nice days. Haven't done much to it since I got it. Did all disc brakes last year. Dual Quads last month. Since coming here I'm really motivated to turn it into something nice and traditional. The thing covered up behind it is my '52 Ford Customline what started as a father son project at 14, but only got as far as tearing it all down and that's where it stopped. It's still sitting in pieces in our side yard at my parents.
'71 Jeepster Commando that i dragged out of my grandfathers barnyard. Before that it was my uncles, then my other uncles. Originally a hardtop wagon till the body rotted off. Then my father and i built the new tub from 11guage w/diamond plate floor. Full 6pt rollcage, tube bumpers, nerfbars. 8" suspension lift w/35"tires. and a cj5 nose. Back in HS it was still running the stock Buick Dauntless V6 w/3spd and 3:7gears. Today it has the 350/350/ 205 combo. All wheel drive axles from a '65 Scout. Dupont Imron industrial paint Picture was taken roughly 8 years ago. Still got her, and i always will.
