Well the body went on today (for hopefully the last time) and I'm able to see how everything (except the interior) goes together. In my mind it has that late 50s/early 60s look I was looking for. I'm happy:)

I can't keep from staring at it ... love it! I noticed you didn't cut the firewall to set the engine back ... what kind of fan are you using? Did you have room for a stock type fan?? Toby

They are Coker Cl***ic 750x16 on 4 1/2" gennie rims.

Actually we did have to cut the firewall to clear the valve covers and the distributor. The motor mounts are also about an inch higher than normal to help "fill' the engine compartment. And yes we did use the stock fan.

Great man. Those ram horns put a distinct time period on that engine

Beautiful car! Please don't take this wrong, it's the ONLY thing that sticks out; the plug wires should be routed old school, down the back and up under the ram's horns.

Really lookin good. People sure jump in about unfinished things on a build that the body just went on. Good gosh can't you do majic so they will be happy with YOUR car. I think they can sneak in and delete their post so they don't look soo silly. Said that pretty nice didn't I.
