A buddy of mine told me about this car, so another friend and I went out and took a look at it. Any info would appreciated, I figure if anyone can identify this T, then this is the place.
Looks like a '26 or 7. Either way, you should purchase it. You've got the makings of a cool depresion era modified T right there.
It is a 26 Roadster or RPU tub with the rear subframe gone. Tourings have a smooth front seat back. And with twin carb intake and a 13-15 radiator. looks like a 25 or early 26 frame. with small rear brake drums.
The frame and running gear are worth very little, and obviously the hood isn't part of the car. But what would make it worthwhile are the doors, they are tough to come by, even half-assed ones can bring $200 each.
Thanks everyone for all the info, much appreciated. I didn't think it was worth asking price either, I was going to try for $300 first.
The black car is made from the front half of a touring car! Do my eyes deceive me or does that chassis have a tapered-leaf spring out back? That's a hot rod goodie from days gone by, about 1913-15, I think. Is that thing sitting at the vegetable stand just outside Castroville at the stoplight?

Also aluminum hog's head, early style front wishbone, early radiator, probably has a "low" head, interesting intake. . . Quite a few neat, old old parts on it.
And somebody up top said the running gear and frame weren't worth much. There was a time those tapered leaf springs would sell easily for $200+.
is that your chevy in the background? if not give them what their asking and have them throw the truck in with the T.. it looks just like my 1927 truck tub.
