I pre-entered your Wichita show last month. Might cruise the '31 Ford coupe down to the Dewey show, too. I like the idea of 1964 and older car shows. Much less boring that way.

I love Volkswagons and one of these day I'll have one. This is one that won an award a
couple of years ago.... Come on down.

Dewey is 90% pre-64 Hot Rods and Kustoms. The reason that I was keeping it an open
show is too try to covert some of the younger crowd. To date we've converted some
guys that showed up with Muscle cars and late models. They are now driving Hot Rods
and Kustoms. Very Kool!! Looking forward to seeing ya!!

    Happy Trails,

    Mick

I still think you should be celibrating the 60th anniversary of the Olds OHV V8 instead of those damn Mercs.

I'll be going Friday afternoon sometime. Lemmie know if you want to run out there with me. If you don't mind old rusty wagons! LOL.

  9. Mick, shortly after I logged onto the HAMB the first time, folks (reputable ones like Rashy and Monkey ;)) started talking about this event like a pilgrimmage. After years of reading the reviews I hope to make it down some day. By next year the new ride should be close, and OK is mucho closer than Austin. Sad to say but a real clincher for folks with limited vacation time.

Hey Doug, Watch for me on Saturday I'll have something for you......

    ha,ha,ha,ha,.....

Look forward to seeing ya soon. Austin is a whole different animal & not comparable
to the SK500. This is not a bad thing.

I agree I didn't think Monkey or Rashy would ever be reputable....

    Happy Trails,

    Mick

Kool!! I'll try to remember to give you the magazine that the T-Bird was in. What
are the odds that I'll remember???? May end up mailing it in.

    Happy Trails,

Really looking forward to Dewey this year. I think the lovely wife and I are coming over on Friday to enjoy the entire w/e this year. Order up some more of last years weather Mick.

I'll see if I can get something put together for the art auction as well.

Arch has been thrashing on his new truck trying to get it ready for the show. It was Dewey last year that got him all excited about puting a rod together.

Rashy and I will be signing autographs throughout the weekend. We just need to figure out how to sign "Micky Bryan" in cursive!

We here at Pushrod fully support this great car gathering with the exception of the monkey guy..........Be sure and stop by the Pushrod Mart this year again. I'm sure Jimbo will bring more useless stuff you can't live without..........And we will have free STP stickers for all participants except Myers.......and Monkey.......
Oh Yea there will be a Pushrod Pick Trophy again this year. it will be coveted........

    Hey Mike,

Guys are still talking about last years guitar solo. For the guys that missed it.
While he was tearing it up on the guitar, Mike walks over and jumps in to his Coupe,
starts it up and rapps off the exhaust. If we had it on film, VH-1 would have put it
on the list of best guitar solos ever!!

Thanks PUSHROD for tearing it up!!!

    Happy Trails,

    Mick
