Here is my 53 Plymouth Belvedere...currently working on her engine. Its my first engine rebuild so Im taking it slow. Plus money is slow...haha

I am sure BloodyKnuckles will hop on and share a few of his '51. It's definitely one of the best of the Plymouths and just plain cool....slow but cool.

Here's my 51 Savoy wagon, sporting wood...it's on an 1998 S-10 chassis that I shorten about 11 inches..also added crate motor and 350 trans I would be driving it now except I had a front tire tread seperate so now I'm waiting for new front tires............

 

My very first car (actually, my first AND second cars!) were '52 Plymouths! One was a Cranbrook that I paid ten bucks for in 1972 (had a bad #6 piston, but still ran good!) and a Cambridge that had a great engine, but the interior was non-existent and the body was so-so! Also, ten bucks and drove IT home, too, while sitting on a crate. I was twelve at the time...

Im trying to get my hands on a 51 Plymouth suburban to make a daily driver.....just have to figure out how to get it to NJ.

Here are some pictures of my 1953 Dodge. These will serve as 'before' shots as I currently am painting the wheels and have some Wide whites in the garage that will be going on this weekend or next week. Also, I'm just selecting the aluminum out of the pile to make some lowering blocks and I've been flip-flopping between 1.5, 2 and 2.5 inch stock. Think I'm going with 2.5 and if it's too low I can machine them down. Wheels are shiny black.
Oh yeah, in the center pic i removed bumper guards and license plate but it's not the smooth look that i was hoping for so the jury is still out on the front end treatment.

 

This was one of my high school cars in the 50's

I don't know why my pictures are so small lately I'm not doing anything different.

Here's a picture of my white '53 Belvedere and my buddy Normspeed's '53 wagon and teardrop. Any of you Mopar guys have any leads on a replacement tinted windshield for my hardtop? I "think" all '53 - '54 windshields except convertable will fit. Dodge's are different too. Used is fine. Thanks

My Australian built 55 DeSoto. Shares the body with the US Spec 53-54 Plymouth.
Leaving Patina for now with the metalflake roof, the rear leaves are gonna be reset too for a taildraggin' stance.

Here's mine (53 Dodge Meadowbrook). I'm actually going to pick it up this weekend, it's been in the family for years so I've driven it a bit. It just worked out that I'm gonna end up with it. I'm usually a bowtie guy but thought I'd see how I looked with horns.
The plan is to make it our family cruiser, something we can get us all in as opposed to my trucks which are limited to 3 people. I'd like to use it for running to work on nice days too.
Here's pics of how it sets now.
First off I'm gonna slap a set of cheepy 4 bars I've got setting around on it then paint the roof white or a light cream.
Then I'd like to get it lower (anybody got tips or recommendations on dropping one 2-3 inches on the cheap).
Would like to hop up the old six a little maybe a dual Edmond's (if I can find one) and some kind of split exhaust might have the guy in Texas split my stock exhaust.

Blueskies: What carbs are you running? I've been wondering how well a single Carter/Weber would fit/run on there, as I've had good luck with them on Chevy's.
