Looks like it's been run throughout those 30 years though... tires are good, just a mild bit of dust, and the floor is even swept. These barns are getting nicer and nicer. :D Great car... love the engine!

Flat black, red wheels, tear the fenders off, "haircut", straight thru exhaust. The usual.

Nice car, don't do the above. Drive and enjoy. One Finger John

Not just a 33, but a "Bowtie 33"! I'm so jealous, and also happy for another HAMB Chevy.

You pretty much NEED to take video and see her reaction. That is the most amazing find (and most self less gifting of it) I have ever seen.

I alway's scronge ebay and craig list ,Last Sunday night I saw an add for a 33 Chev ,with pictures .my heart stopped like maybe a FIND
Sent the guy a email and he decribed the car
His Father now 80 + was in a rest Home ,had restored the car in the late 60's and drove it a hand full amount of times ,then parked it in the Garage for 30 yrs ,I bought it over the phone ,gave him a deposit 9:00 Monday morning .Thurday (yesterday) I set up a transport ,played hooky from work and drove 4 hrs in HOPE , When I finally got there ,very remote area the garage was open ,when I walked up I could not belive it ,The son aprox 60 yrs old told me it been sitting for a long time ,also had a different eng and brakes ,he warned me it was not stock
We made the deaL rest is history,

Amazing. They must have kept the damn thing in a giant ziplock bag! It looks GREAT. Find out who built that "barn" - I want them to build one for me, too!!

What a great score. I like your plan to leave the six. You can do some amazing things with a six cylinder and either a stick or automatic drivetrain. Myself I'd be temped to try a 292 late model six just because they are awesome performers with the right combination of parts. If the car is to be for the wife she might want an automatic and there isn't anything wrong with that or power steering or air conditioning.
Ber sure to keep is in the loop on the rebirth of this one. It will be a refreshing change of pace.
