53 or 54 Chevy Bel Air Pick

I just want to know what people would rather have a 53 or 54 Chevy Bel Air only diference is the front,let me know what you guys think...........

Taillights are different too. I prefer 53', but I'm about as biased as the plies in my tires...

 

I have a 53 with 54 tailights. I like them both but I really like the 54 front vallance and bumper

 

Yea i have a 53 with 54 tail light too but i was thinking of changeing the front end with a 54 but im gonna stick with the 53 instead.........so if anyone in Pasco,WA needs a 54 LH fender hit me u

I grew up riding in the back seat of my grandparents 54 that was similar to the one in the second photo. Well, you know, it was green and not lowered and they took us grandkids on Sunday rides all the time but it was a great car for a kid to ride to the fishing spots in it's back seats.

 

i pick 1953... the headlight rings, bumpers, and bumper guards are different too

 

i really like both too but i was looking for a 54 but i found a 53 2 door for 750 bucks i couldn't let it slip away

I am still looking for that deal around here. But that isn't seeming to pan out to well. They want a mint for them around here.

 

i got lucky with mine the owner was moving out of his property n had to sell it at first he wanted like around 2000 but i told him my offer n he accepted it n it had a rebuild ford posi rear end

I too, wanted a 54 but found a 53 cheap. I still prefer the 54 grille and styled bumper.

I love them both, but I definately prefer the 54. I am still looking for a nice one around my area to make my daily, but no luck so far.

 

I love both cars but have always gone the way of the 54, dont have a really good reason, just seemed to work it self out that way. there is a real nice one a town over from me that i am told the lady wants to build for her son. He is 6. Great intensions but i, and her father, dont ever see it happening. I stop by there when ever i am in the area just to say high. maybe i am wearing on her.

I've got both and I love my 54! Maybe it's because it's in better shape but I also prefer the 54 style
