a guy called me about a week ago and answered my ad for scrap cars..he said there was a bunch of model T tins and a 33-37 plymouth 4dr body come and get it out my yard b4 l send this stuff to recycle/scrap yard,, got there and there is about 15 sets front fenders, 7 or 8 running boards, several aprons that go between the body and running board, 6 cowls, one firewall and a whole bunch of quarter tubs and backs of tubs, 2 frames one grille and a 1930 cowl and a***** load of odds and ends,, goonnna make a rat rod/rust rod outta these paerts,, heres a couple pix of the general idea, cool score,,l NEVER EVER expected someone to give me so many T, parts.. does one know where l can get a****le or do l have to go and have it state patrol inspected??,,,thanks,,also in the pic is the top of the plymouth
Rat Rod? Man wrong forum. Build a Hot Rod or climb back under a rock, no better yet sell all the parts to someone that will appreciate them enough not to turn them into a**************!
I'm new here and already I don't like you . Actually, Congrats on your find and I have "lucked up" some myself. My bike project took shape nicely. A free rigid frame (circa early '70s, late '60s) and about 5-6 hundred dollars worth of other free parts from my buddies. Bought a 12" over Wide Glide front end, eBay 16" in FL rear wheel and a new 21" wheel and tire complete from a friend for a reasonable price. Rolling chassis with seat and tank for my investment of about 6 hundred dollars. Not bad. Now if I could find a H.D. Sportster to suit me for a reasonable price and I'll be admiring a nice chopper SITTING in my yard- my wife says I can't ride it (BTW when we got married, I was riding a Harley and driving a Corvette- they both got sold pretty quick ). I'm 100% disabled. I can still get around pretty good and she's not home ALL the time . She will gladly let me drive my RPU project once built and running. Now I have to go- wife's home and my list is growing . Tim.
Sweet!! The other day I got me a T frame, Rear axle, rear spring. Model A Front Axle and spring. It was in a fence row on the farm where I work at so my boss just gave it to me saying it was junk for him. Some Farmer made it into a farm Trailer LOL

l don't know what l will call this mass amount of parts,, yes l brought all of them home that were there,, l call it a rust rod couse every thing is covered in rust and some are rusted real bad and there are thin spots in some of the parts l am using ,l would like to build a shiny rod but to much time and money that l don't have so l make it with in the means l have,, so not excatly a rat rod becouse l will put in a IFS and no*****py welds.. everything will be up a very safe standard,, l have seen some rods with birdshit welding,, not for this guy,, solid welds, boxed frame, good brakes and a overdrive and a small block for reliablity and ease of workin' on,,so if not a RR, tell me what you would call it;';';';' PS, l have the shiny hot rod,, a 1969 shortbox chevy, 400hp 396 and everything new last year,,oh and pic of the 1960 cushman, it's getting a 750 magna honda motor and a 8 3/4 mopar rearend,, is that hot rod enough for ya? if not please tell what is and be nice, l have sensitive ears//

you do know this is a traditional rod site,not much room for ifs and rr's.its just not welcome.the police are for keeping it that way,which i might add is a good thing in my book.some just dont get it. when your in someones house you dont***** on their carpet,same thing here.
