    Holy ****. That's the nicest '33 5W I've ever seen.

If you ever decide to part it out, let me know.... :)

Honor the old guys work by leaving it alone except for stuff you can put back is it sits now. Looks great as is, a little work to make it safe and reliable and then enjoy.

Nice find! Is that a full size Chevy or the smaller and rare Mercury? YES! Chevy had a Mercury before Ford.

Thanks guys for all the interest ,it is cleaning up nice ,it will stay a 6
it looks like a 53-54 -235 ,needs some duals and carbs ,old speed stuff
I washed it today ,first time in 40 yrs it has been washed with water
the brother told me his brother never drove and only blew it off from time to time to clean it ,he also said it may have a stuck valve
    Any ideas how to unstick
    Thanks

    awesome find.you lucky s.o.b!

  19. I guess that would also be a Master, as the Juniors were 3W. I have a good friend with a bone stock 34 3W with slightly widened rims. The brakes are a tad scary so he is looking at putting a dual circuit hydraulic brake system on it.
    Great score you have there!

A 235 is a good motor, and it looks like the original engine. Discs in front, T5 trans, you can drive it anywhere

A stuck valve may loosen it self up after a couple of heat cycles. If not pull the valve cover and then pull the coil wire and turn the engine over withthe starter. Pulling the plugs will help it turn over easier. Then see if you can find the offender. A little trans fluid down the stem and some tapping with with a plastic rubber hammer might loosen it. If Stuck in the open position working the spring with a small pry bar might also loosen it up.

Having found more than my fair share of "finds", barn and otherwise, I can simply be happy for you. Great score!
