You have to know him to get in, no parts are for sale, he will sell hole cars/trucks only BUT he chooses what he sells and when. We picked up a '50 Stude Convert, model "A" coupe all complete and working on a couple others of interest................
Sweet stash, thanks for the fix. First picture; What's hiding under all those metal sheets cobbled together as a roof???
Nice, I would have to just take my camper out there, cause it would take a couple of days to look over all of that!
You can't have your cake and eat it to! Besides you guys are old and grey, might have had to call 911!
...MAN!...that IS a slice of Heaven!...can't believe the great condition those cars are in. How old is the owner?...if he only sells off a few at a time; it'll take forever to clean out that collection. He's sure got a nice variety of cool cars/trucks there.
..that's a 35 Pontiac 3 window coupe, very rare car. I owned one several years ago, a nice restored car; had lots of guys wanting it when I sold it.
i should have know when i had this tigling feeling..old pontiac lover from day one...my first car...64 lemans 2 door convert...later had a 69 GTO convert..and also a 66 lemans 2 dr ht...
Unreal.. They look fairly dry too.. No Swamp land .. thanks for the pictures Brigrat.. I would love to walk through a yard like that again.. its been so long..
Not to be smug but I am not a writer, just a picture taker and lover of old yards that have soul! Besides it takes all my time just to "edit" and "clean up" the pic's! Here's the owner's pic taken 3 years ago, nuff said?
I'm going to Google all the ariel maps of your state I'll find it.Might take a couple months no sleep but I'll find it !!!! haha. Thanks for the pics
I could give you the location, the guys name & ph.#ber BUT you won't get very far UNLESS he wants to sell it and if he does it's on his time schedule as to how & when he can get to it, literally. He does not like Hot Rods, Rat Rods, Custom Rods any kind of Rods, period. Nothing is cheap BUT you do get titles!
how did this guy get so many solid cars allot look like they ran when parked did he put spike strips in the road like "the hills have eyes"? you guys out west are so lucky i want to sell my house now and head to the hills that place could be the hotrodder gold rush of 2010
yeah, that actually might be the coolest "junk" yard I've seen. There is some top notch stuff in there. Good for this guy collecting the right stuff in a place where it isn't rotting to death. Lots of good future projects in there just biding their time. Those model a's are amazing. Any more pictures of that awesome car carrier?
