Jesus, that is my dream car sitting there....I've always wanted a Zeph...Thats an awesome find and that Model A with the Evans heads is just insane!!! Thanks for sharing & def. the koolest thread i've seen in a loooong time!
Aside from the cars..... I hope you guys out west realize how gorgeous the countryside is out there. I love it. JH
WOW!!!!!!! Nice pictures. wish i lived out on the west coast and was able to find cars that have been sitting and are still in that good of a condition. nice set of EVANS heads on the flattie in that coupe.
This isn't an Easter Egg Hunt at least not yet! When I learn more about what and when I will fill interested people in, till than gotta give the guy some space. Money means nothing to him it's not a motivator. Maybe I will try the "female persuasion" technique............
opps there I saw a couple of cars in my taste...the cadillac 56 pair..the olds conv and the imperial...maybe he even has a couple of buick 58 and pontiac 66 (lol) lucky you....the climate in sweden would have killed those in 10 years need to build a bigger garage and the take a trip to wisit the state of washington regards stig
There are a couple of yards like that in CO. I passed one yesterday on I70 east of grand junction, then theres Webbs east of Colorado springs.
I betcha the old coot has ten of the trim pieces Im lookin' for (59 chevy wagon tailgate trim.....hint, hint)
Gonna be a shame when he passes and the vultures come in. Hope most avoids the scrapyard. Its sad seeing the cars stuck in there. We had a good old yard here that the owner was forced to crush alot of the old cars do to the epa. Lots of tri-five chevys in states of disrepair got made into bridges in china. Hope you can get him to help some other rodders out with alot of those cars.-Weeks
He's got a hot button if he's even entertained the idea of getting rid of one or two. If it's not money it's SOMETHING! Offer him a a new bass boat, a pallet of Red Man and 3 coon hounds and see if you can get him to twitch! There's some kind of fishy story behind this. There's just no way SO MANY cars, every one of them highly desirable, landed in one spot.
Thanks for posting the photos! That white 30-31 A Coupe has been on here before. By the looks of things this is a "collection" not a junk yard, when did the guy start collecting, or did he takeover a collection that was started years ago. Has to be an interesting story behind every car & truck.
I'm sorry dude, I didn't mean it like that It's just almost too good to be true! Like everyone else said, HEAVEN!!!
in my car heaven there is no rust awesome collection , well i seem to be a couple years younger than the owner so it's just a waiting game....
Yes, I have posted other pic's, other times. It was started years and years ago by him, all by himself, no help, nadda!
That makes me kinda dizzy. I have seen it in real life. I was on an out of town job. It gave me feelings that I couldn't explain, and still can't. It must be true love.
