Well, I went over to skulls house today, and wow! That midget car is awesome, a really rad ride, and definitely a fit for this site, 'cause it's a RACE car, and better yet, a street legal one! The other project I saw is gonna be so sweet, a radical little ride that should get tons of attention too (I'm not saying what it is, but dang, fun time stuff!)

I gotta give a big shout out to skull too, guy, you are alright in my book. Skull hooked me up with a pair of front fenders, aprons, hood, and long running boards for my '27 ccpu. I hope that helping to wire the midget racer will give back some of what you gave me today :D

He's got a mock up for what I would call a doodlebug, and when it's done it's gonna be a fun ride too! Lots of tradition in the way this guy thinks, in my book, he can call his cars whatever he wants to, they are all hot rods in my book :D

I think its awesome that you can even find stuff like that! Closest thing to old times around here in the weeds is a mid 50s 2 ton Chevy and an old Stude. Good job!

It's the entire west side of the Cascade Mountains. And it*****s, at least during the winter. Two years ago we had something like 70 straight days of rain in the spring...:(, but you would already know that. The better question is: why live here? :D

Airbags have been on cars since the fifties. And FYi skull a straight axle dont make it a rat rod. Non shiny paint doesnt make it a rat rod either. A rat rod is a purpose built pile of junk. Build a hot rod. Its timeless. rat rods are a fad. Keep looking around on here and get some ideas and build your version of a real ROD. You have a good start.

ya skwurl ; fads come, then go , then come back if you live long enough,,did you read my plans? if so you seen l plan to build it VERY safe & drive the hell outta it. just gonna clear coat it for now as my budget is streched thin with the street legal dwarf car, the cushman project and my red chevy 69 truck,, by saving it now when ]if] life gets better on the $$ front l can always redo it or my grandchillin' might if'n l don't get to b4 l croak,, thanks don't know what l'll call it// how 'bout my******** & fenderless roadster thing
