Event Coverage Top Down and AUSTIN Bound!!

Uncle John, and I, are headed out of Omaha bright and early on Wednesday morning in his 'A' Roadster. We are staying at a friend's place in Plano on Wednesday night and meeting up with a crew on Thursday morning to head the rest of the way to Austin.

We've been looking forward to the annual Lonestar Roundup trip for quite a while and I can't wait to get out of here! Work has been very busy the last couple of months, along with extra hours at a part-time job, so a few days away from everything is going to be great... especially since we are going to Austin!

I'm looking forward to seeing everyone and catching up, as well as meeting some new people.

Well, Roger --- Thankfully, some of my grandparents are still around, as well as my parents, so I haven't inherited a penny... and really don't ever plan on it.

Like I said, I work two jobs and have been putting in 50-60 hours a week.
...and honestly, besides using a few vacation days, this trip won't be that expensive. With gas around $2, splitting that between two of us, in a car that gets 18-20 mpg, and sharing a hotel room with a few others..... all of that makes it possible to do more trips like this.

I also really wanted to go to BG this year, since I've never been there, but I'm in a wedding that weekend and can't go.

I was wondering to myself about the title and thought you just wanted to be clever with a rhyme or something cuz I knew John didn't have a top for that car. Now it makes sense. Duck tape and plastic will make for good side curtains if he didn't spring for those.
