More info on this ride? Who's is it, what are the banger motors, any details on the motors? They look to be turbo charged, how about some info.

Both will be 185". I believe (and someone correct me if I'm wrong) that's the wheelbase for the 1964ish era.

"The Chrome Czar" will have a 394 Olds Rocket, stroked with 6 Strombergs and a Len Huges Mag, 'Glide and 9". Wires up front and original Torq Thrusts out back wrapped in 10.00-15 Firestones. The body work will be just behind the motor, and not a full body.

"Daddy's Girl" will be pretty much the same car, but with a 406FE. I'm not sure what induction yet, but more than likely dual quads or a 406 Tripower, and Len Hughes Mag. Not sure on the rear wheels yet either, but the tires are the same. I would run a 6 deuce on this one too, but they are damn hard to find. I've only seen one, and didn't have the cash for it for what it went for.

Damn dude, your photo archive must take up a whole computer. I need to get down your way this summer maybe and see your **** if your door is open.

1964 would be more like 145". Both sound cool. And by the looks of your other work they will be very nice. And yes my door is open, but not much to see here. But if you come stop and pick up Plowboy on the way down.

    Yeah Brian,
I got back on the Friday of the March meet and drove straight to Bakersfield from the airport.
I am back in my shop building cars as we speak and due to some interest from a couple of NPCA guys will probably be putting together a currently legal FED kit in the near future. I am finishing up a roller that came of the jig on Monday and will post some pix of that soon.

  17. Bill, that is a terrific history page you built for the Bronson Special and its restoration!

Hmmm. I've got prints from 1964 that are 185. ****. Maybe they're fakes. What's the wb on your car?

As for picking up Plowboy, I'm not one for riding guys on the back of my bike. :D
