Dont know if this counts but My dad was building a 32 ford pickup In the late 70's I bought it off him 8 years ago. Still in the original garage. He only lives 20 minutes away. I will finish it .Im jumping between the roadster and the truck. I hope that counts.

Beautiful car! I love the "look" with the color scheme and those caps.

    To the original topic...

I've had my '65 Chevy II for almost 23 years, and I am just turning 37. :)

I have had my '36 almost 32 years, my Dad has had his '33 5 window for 35 years, and his '54 Vette for 48 years!

  14. I've had Henrietta the '38 Ford pickup 43 years, since I was 14 years old. Gave $15 for it in 1966. Ozelle, the '55 Ford Town Sedan (Fairlane 4 door), was bought new by my parents at Drake Motor Co. in Rockmart GA, I've had it since I was 16 (1968).

I've been driving my 41 Plymouth sedan for about 25 years, it's been Hemi powered for close to 20 years, built the 354 almost 18 years ago and it has at least 235,000 miles, I,m driving it daily to work, the next three weekends I'll drive it to Pensicola, Fl, Mobil, Al, and Knoxville, TN. I've had my 38 Stude coupe since 78 and the one that started it all for me, my 41 Hudson Super Six sedan since 72. I wish I could say the Stude and Hudson were still on the road, but I'm working on it!

  18. I was at a buddy's house about 3 weeks ago just shooting the breeze. I new that he had several old cars and thought I had seen all of them. One of the cars he has is a T roadster that was built in the mid 50s. I was not prepared to see what he had in the back side of his storage building. He opens the door and there sits a 35 Ford roadster that he has owned since the late 50s. It has a Merc flatthead in it and it is still a running, driving car. It still has the set of nylon tires on it that he installed in 1963. The only thing wrong with the car is his dogs got in it chasing some sort of varmit and tore up part of the seat. This car is CHERRY!!!! In addition to these he has a 40 Buick convertible, a 50 Merc convertible. a 57 Chevy convertible, a 50 Ford 4 door, a 55 Chevy post and several other projects. Out of all these the only one I was unaware of was the 35.
    Later,
    Dick

Let's see... I've owned my '55 since 1980, my '40 coupe since 1985, and my '50 tin woody since 1990, of course, the '55 is the only one that I ever finished!

I've had my 33 Cabriolet since 73... I couldn't find a coupe so I went with a removable hardtop made out of thirty pieces of metal and a Tudor roof... it hasn't changed much since the 91 L.A. Roadster Show...

I got my '55 Chevy 2 door post when I was 17(1970). I've had my '34 Chevy coupe for 27 years. Got a '32 Ford tudor in '80, but it is a long way from being started or finished.

I still have three years to go, but I do have a few grey hairs. Does that count.
