My bucket finally ready for the road

It's not 100% done (nor will it probably ever be) but its finally ready for the road. Her e a few driveway shots before a buddy and I spent the entire afternoon driving around just enjoying the semi-nice weather today.

I bought this in January:



and today we got to drive it as it stands now:

The same size tires front and rear look strange, the header wrap looks fine though...I still kinda dig the original version of the car, but I'm sick like that...put some skinnier tires up front and it should look killer...

Hate me if ya like,but I liked it better shiny and tires it had.
Dose look good with aircleaner you added,and nice dash job too,yet we all do it are way,that's the fun.

You might think about shortening the steering column...kinda up in the air. Smaller front tires will make a big difference in the look and balance.

 

I believe the dash is a Straight Eight Buick valve cover. COOOOOOOOOOOL

 

VERY COOL. I've always had a soft spot for T's. This will be remembered as one of my favs. Not a big fan of the header either but like you sain it's not done but at least it's heading down the road!! Todd

 

Are you f##KING Kidding me this guy took some old nasty p.o,s model T and turned it into a very respectable car that looks really cool
P.S its guys like you that give south Florida roders a bad name maybe he will give you a deal on the old top and wheels you can put them on your Honda

I like your style, I'm a bucket fan, got one myself, drive it and enjoy it, it don't get any better then ride'n in a bucket.

I will eventually do lakes I think, still unsure at this point which way any of its going.

The tires up front a a size smaller and narrower, the wide angle pics make them look closer in size than they really are, however the back will gbe cheaters one day.

The whole steering column needs to go, not really a fan of it that is on teh short list of things to do in the future.

i would tend to agree with the fellas that said a skinnier front tire/wheel combo. it might look good with just a painted steel wheel and a black walled bias ply up front...kinda an old dragster look. that would be cheaper than trying to find a set of supremes too. plus if you do that....then you have an extra set for burnouts.

WOW! What a save!!! It's true...you CAN make a T-bucket look cool! I love the new look. Chrome or even black lake-pipes would make it look a little more period correct.
