Just dropping in to say hello. Got tired of lurking and thought I would join the crowd. Look forward to all the excitment. Here is a pic of my ride if anyone cares:
welcome! I have seen your car and takin MANY pics of it at a few of last years car shows I attended. very nice job on it! Hope to meet you this year at a few.
hey looking at your car it was at the Rod and custom show in monticello early this year, i remember because i took some pictures of it. i got them pulled up on my computer right now lol very sharp ride
Yea I was there. Great show for only having about 40 cars or so. I took a likeing to the green 37 buick that was against the wall. Seemed like every car there was nice. Not sure why they wanted mine there.
Welcome to the board, Hal. Grew up in Fairfield. Graduated in 61 left in 63. Couldn't take the winters anymore. Tulsa has a better climate. My mom still lives in Mt. Pleasant. Hawks Rock! Your 55 is killer. _____________________________________________________________________ Like I told the kid, "Your music's not too loud, it just sucks and wouldn't Tulsa be a great place to have a NSRA Mini-Nats!"
Maybe because...it a very clean car! Fairfeild is another show I seen your car at. I was their last year as well. I was beat for longest distance traveled bu 8 miles. haha I will be back this year tho. It was fun. That is a very nice green ride!
That's the one! That is one well built machine. Not my favorite color but I admire the craftsmanship that went it to building that puppy. Thanks for the all the hardy welcomes! There are way more people from Iowa here than I would have guessed....
You'll have to excuse my recollection of that show. You might have me confused with someone else. Then again, I am getting old.........
