  1. It'll get chrome reverse/blackwall cheaters out back soon.

Lookin' good Groucho. It's going to be even better with the tire/wheel change!

  6. Yes, and they're going back with some new wheels on front that I never had on the car yet. Kidney Bean looking wheels with the same finish as what's shown on the back of the 38 I hope they look OK

    Hot Damn that looks good!

  15. I actually drove it for a minute yesterday, and it was pretty bad. Today, all I did was add the front shocks and correct a 1/2" toe-out situation, and perfect! Amazing how those 2 little things affect how a car behaves. I did have some setbacks getting to this point though. Water in the header from a pinhole in an over ported exh. port. No pan gskt, filter, or tube that connects the filter in the TH 400 that a friend sold me. Not his fault, but what a mess. Also, some rear brake issues a couple weeks ago. BUT, once all the smoke cleared and I drove it, it went pretty damn good. Car drives/stops/steers/runs really good. I just drove it up and down this 1/2 mile stretch by my house a bunch of times. Tomorrow, I'll drive it a few miles to lunch somewhere

I love it. Paint it black and it would be identical to the first hotrod that I got on the road. I still have vivid memories of my first time driving my 38 coupe. It's got to be fun.

  22. How do you churn out such cool cars so fast Groucho? God man Im jelous, this, the Vette your new soooooo cool 6 pot 32, and what happened to the green 32?
Do you and Jim Sibley have a secret for this??
    Doc.

  23. The green 32's been gone for a while. Anyway, on this one, I bought it almost 2 years ago and stored it til around Christmas time. It ran a couple years ago with a Pontiac/TH 400 and Mustang II front suspension. So, it was an easy one as it already had glass/pedals/wiring........
My buddy Andy and his friend Steve grafted newly aquired frame rails from a half a foot behind the cowl forward because of some real hack work in the past. Andy also fabbed the mount for the early Mustang steering box. The rest was pretty basic for me

    I approve of this!

Good job, looks killer. I like the whitewall, but I'm sure the blackwall w/ chrome reverse will looke just as killer!
