1960 El Camino, lives in Japan now, built by "GOT'CHA", in Olympia, Wa. Women in Washington State, FOR THE MOST PART, HATE the color orange. Don't ask me why, I have testicles, couldn't tell you.

Dad has a '37 Ford pickup that is painted a Porshe color - Mars Red.

Depending on how you look at it and how the light hits it, it will go from a bright red to an orange. It is an awesome color, but then again, I'm kinda partial to it.

In Dupont's Fleet color book there is a really great orange, a deep bright orange that looks alive even on a cloudy day. I saw an Olds convertible around town painted that color years ago and I've wanted to paint a car that color ever since, but haven't had the right car to do it to yet.

this is a great thread for me too, when i repaint that little aurathetic electric motorcycle, it's almost hugger orange, but not quite. no one is really sure what the color code was. the company was out in Cali and they are long gone, I think they were gone by 73. anyway gives me some great paint code ideas. :D

My Dad had a Falcon that was 69 Camaro Hugger Orange which is blindingly bright. When he was looking for colors he found a color called Chrome Orange that came on some big rigs, I think it was a Freightliner color. It was ORANGE. This was around 1989

Here's another favorite. Anybody know which one is the real deal? I'm guessing that some of the cars in Ocala are recreations.
