anyone getpix of the silver flaked tee that was inside at the round up? belongs to a 16 year old girl had the headlight air cleaner and the big dimond shift knob?
I love this style T, jefferyjames' is my all time favorite though. It was great to finally see it in person. Got to build one one day!
Sweet looking ride...kind a dig the headlight air cleaner... as for JefferyJames' buck..i agree very well done and slicker than snot.
I really did not get a chance to check out the other T up close but it was giving an "Outlaw" vibe from what I seen. If it was in fact a flathead I would have shown the shit out of it and ran it proud. Interior is cool.
These guys don't have a sense of humor this early in the morning 48ratfink. I mean how dare anyone infer that an engine that isn't a flathead might be one. It's a nifty little car that has a just right look in my book. Hope they check the whole chassis over for another issues before letting her hit the road with it.
Man, what a cool little T. That is a shame the chassis broke, was it boxed? I wonder why it broke? I think it is really great that a 16 yr. old has taken such an interest in traditional hot rodding. One more for the good guy team! Take that fart can tuner crowd!
yea checked out all the welds its really a kool little car, i am the builder and my big mig was in the shop and used a small machine , first time i have ever had this happen, thank god she wasn't driving the car, we had it strapped down tight in an enclosed traliier, bounced all over the place on the way down, bound up the steering and cracked the frame , it has been fixed and gusseted today will repaint tomorrow and be ready for dewey next week
Um,no offense, but that's a pretty big fawk up,especially on a fresh build,I wouldn't trust that frame at all.I can see some of the welds in the pix,and well......they speak for themselves.
I saw a 56 chevy break its frame on the starting line once, right behind the control arm. It was acertained that the failure was in part due to the way they tied down the car when they trailered it. where it broke was right where they strapped the frame to the trailer every time. In essence the suspension was fighting against the frame the whole time it was being trailered. Always tie the suspension down, and let the body and frame ride free.
