Hello, Dodges and Plymouths for 55 and 56 had 15" wheels..

  5. Lucky for me I have a set of new 15" tires that I was going to use on my 54 Chevy setting in the garage. The tires on the 56 are toast. They are skinny whites but I''ll grind them into wide whites.

  6. My brother works for a suspension shop, AB Spring so lowering is no problem. I just need a driver side exhaust manifold and some wheel cylinders and I'll be able to drive it.

  7. Photoshop me baby !!!:D

I played with this for a couple minutes but not sure what you want to see. I'm not good with the color changing, I ended up turning the sky black.

I NEED A WATER PUMP! If anyone has a core waterpump for the Red Ram Dodge motors, I need one. I believe 241/270/315/325 are all the same, I prefer a later one with the grease zerk on it but I'll take whatever.

I'm going to send it out to be rebuilt so I don't give a shit if it's good or not, just looking for a core. If anyone's got one please PM me. I have one on my car but it takes like 2 weeks to get it back and I don't want to take the car off the road that long.

  12. Kirsten's old '56 four-door Plymouth Suburban wagon...she has sold this car, BTW!

Met her and her husband this week, while I was out in Nevada, and took some pics of her soon-to-be-gone '56!

Damn, I really want that grille!!!

Ive got a 55 plymouth custom im selling for $8000 here in wichita, KS. Its got a built
425hp/500ft/lb (bulid copied from carcraft, iron ported heads w big SS valves) 440/727 with a shift kit, disc brakes, ford 9 inch rear with posi, aluminum rad w/elec fan, shaved door/trunk, 54 olds bumper and custom bodywork done to the headlights, tailights and hood. It is a fast motherfucker, but squirlier than hell. Fun to drive though!
hit me up if you are interested. These pics are old and the car isnt so shiny and new looking anymore. The hood has been damaged, but repaired and still needs to be painted and there is a dent on the pass side door now thanks to my ex-girlfriend. Id be asking ALOT more money if it still looked as good as it did in these photos. What you would be buying now is a rat rod that needs some minor bodywork strapped to a rocket of an engine, not the jewel you see in the pics.

  14. I'm thinking suede dark red with a white flake top with dark red scallops, no side trim. I'm not 100% for sure on the side trim though. Slammed of course, www's with either painted steel wheels( black or dark red) or some cool caps. Probably painted for a while. Frenched headlights , shave all the emblems. I think I'm leaving the handles though.

  15. We still have one but its a moredoor

Grandpa took the 303 to the dump in the Sixties .. Its burried under about 10 foot of dirt now

But, we know where went !!

Dale flat tore up the roads with that car back in the Day ..Think it got parked in 61 and has not ran since ..He will not sell it but, one day maybe it will run again

He has had several Hi-po Mopars and has most of them still ..

Was wondering if anybody knows of sources for early Hemi engines. I've been searching the net trying to find people or shops that sell remaned early Hemi engines, but so far I haven't had any luck. I'm hoping to find a 315 Super Red Ram or a 331 Firepower. Hell, I'd even go for some of the poly engines that were in the Fury, like the 303 or the B block 361 Golden Commando. So if anyone knows of a source selling 50's Mopar engines, send me a PM. I appreciate any help that anyone is willing to offer.

PAW was/is(?) selling them, but, basicly you usually get a core & go @ it.

Just a shameless plug at this point. We build and ship turnkey engines, but I'll tell you up front that sticker shock usually stops all but the most devout, and the core price will be the biggest difference in the final price between any of the engines....

I'm waiting for the rain to stop out here so I can work on my car! I get all my parts tommorrow to re-do my whole rear suspension. Now I just need new tires and alignment and I'm back on the road. I picked up a set of mopar cop car rally wheels at the swap meet to put on that will clear my upcoming disc break swap. Does anyone know if the they will fit on my 56 Plymouth? They are 15x7 I believe, just wondering if anyone might know some good tire sizes to run on it..It has 195/R15 on them now on the smoothie rims. thank you.
