This has a sad story behind it. The guy wanted a kustom Mercury and was taken advantage by almost everyone involved with the build. Lot of money spent. Even though it is not my style, I'm glad that it is on th road and he drives it. My old Merc had some questionable kustom work and over time, mine was repaired..... I just can't figure out why some one would ruin a legendary body line by molding side mirrors to them.. Sorry here is another pic. Happy Trails, Mick
I was taught "if you don't have anything nice to say, ...." so I'll just say I am happy the owner is out driving his car and enjoying it.
it wouldnt' take much to bring it back. New headlights, chromed bumper, and a cut-off wheel to those side mirrors and it wouldn't be half bad
That's Bad Bobs shoebox, its in the classifieds. IMO probably my favorite shoebox of all time, ever. The chop is flawless.
The picture of that crazy flat black chopped 49 Merc belongs to a guy in NY named Tom Midolo (sp?) but if my eye is correct that good looking back of the head in the middle belongs to 00 Mack.
ya thats gonna be the new one, still have to run power and get the roll ups for it. the fun part after i sell the next merc will be building the mezzanine to shelve the future projects and not have them in my way!!
spent my entire Sunday looking, learning, and loving on all these nice ass merc's! thanks to all those who contributed to the list. fuels ideas and motivation!
ok well to me i think that almost every merc (accept for like the sam berris merc and a few select ether) there seems to be something wrong with everyone there is ether ugly gaudy hub caps or gaudy girl in it but this one is my favorite acceptation
No offence to any other posted here, but for mine, this is the perfect Merc Kustom Is it wrong to clone a current car?
