Their are allot of great trucks in this post so I had to add at least one pic. It is from the photo album of a co-workers late grandfather and is from 1937 or 38. Their were about 20 great pics from the old race tracks back in the day from Nor-Cal but this was the only truck shot. Kevin LFD Inc.
My Current Project / Heavily Modified Model BB Frame . Should stand up to the four speed if I keep my foot out of it. Yea Right .
Just for you, Larry........'Malcolm' took this on the way to Round Up (you were missed). Do I get to see ya in Dewey?
We will be there and hopefully in sepearate rides...me and ken both in the 33 is a little cramped...just a little though
here is one i did, the wheels have since been painted copper as well only had a 5 inch channel as the customer is 6"6 and wanted the headroom, so i did not chop it.
CTFuzz asked me to repost some pics of my '33 cause I guess the old photobucket links are gone. I sold it to a guy in AL about 4 years ago, has anyone seen it around? That's the one I wish I had kept...I drove it everywhere!
Thanks for reposting those pics..........................I'm rethinking my project and plan on using my '34 cab on a '32 frame.......and a 401 Nailhead. Those pictures are great inspiration for me................thanks.
I just picked up a '33 Chevy half-ton and this thread is a great source of ideas on what to do with it. Thanks for that. I do need most of the cab, however. Anyone know of a source for cab parts? I'm looking for everything from the front of the door openings on back, including the doors, top, rear window panel and both upper and lower corners.
Very nice for an old dirt tracker to see. MUCH better than sitting around a parking lot polishing the thing all weekend.
