The #91 Budget car is Russ Urlin from London, Ontario Canada. It is a Jr. hanley car.

I always liked the stock bodies, but you had to admire the way guys like Bob Senneker reacted when the rules were relaxed a little...

We've been running them in S.Florida like that for years! The white #5 is actually Dale Earnhardt in the early 90'S.

    Enjoy, Danny

Oh yeah, I knew that. I just never saw Bob with one. I remember one year Gary Balough showed up with one for an ASA race at Milwaukee and we didn't allow him to run.

"HOT SHOE" Gary Balough has had some great looking cars over the years. Always loved to watch him run.

i think that car was raced in the old paul revere 250? i think that was the name of it:confused:

  13. Dan Spence, wasn't he the ASA flagger at one time and then called the races from the tower while his son flagged? This was 2000 through 2003.

Super nice guy. Ran those driver's meetings in a most professional manor. I was on the ASA radio channel throughout the race. He was super calling the shots.

I was there for 73 consectutive ASA races in that time period. Didn't miss a single one. As I probably mentioned before, it was my job to be there.

Dan was the All-Pro flagman while I was flagging for ASA and we worked together several times and became great friends. He went to work for them while I was at IRP. You're right, a super fine guy and very professional about everything he did.

Was a schoolteacher by trade, if I remember right.

I loved the old All Pro series and the Florida Pro Series. Greatest latemodel racing ever!

The flat sided bodies and nose spoilers are what ruined stock car racing as far as I'm concerned. Once the first one showed up at our local track, shortly everyone was running one. They went faster, but the look went right in the trash. Gene

  20. I agree. Everything became a "Bill Board" car.

The Earnhardt picture is the Larry Zent car and was taken at Baer Field Speedway in Fort Wayne, IN, my hometown. Not sure if this is the night 6 Cup drivers were there and Rusty went for a ride off turn one in Mike Bontreger's car, but it might be.
