I've been fighting a huge cold since Friday. Skipped church yesterday and I'm home sick today. Even so, just sitting here feeling like***** was driving me crazy. So I pulled out some black canvas I had bought, my dear wife's sewing machine and whipped this out. It's 12" x 12" Pretty good medicine. Now time for a nap. :)

Great Job, on the chute pack! I have always admired anyone that can sew. There is a gentleman here in Tucson who drives a******en Model-A Coupe, and God bless him when his wife (who was a seamstress) passed away, he still had all of her machines in their home, so he fired them up and made the interior for his "Ol" A-Bone! It came out beautiful. He also put in real mesquite wood flooring, it looks amazing! I hope you feel better soon, drink a boatload of orange juice, and sit in a hot as you can take it steamy shower, pound some Ny-quill just before doing so, and you should be good to go in a couple days!

I'll keep my name off of it till I test it, just in case.

Compared to the dear wife I'm a rank amatuer sewing. But I know better than to use her sewing machine without asking. That would have been bad for my health! ;-)

  13. A friend of mine gave me an old chute off a early 70's dragster but it's beat (the pack is beat). It has that cool silver fire retardant material, anyone nowhere to get that stuff?

They need to be let out? Yeah, that's happening to all of us.

The ground was muddy and the good ol' Kansas breeze was trying to pull me into the muddy field next door!

Yeah, I need to try and dye it yet. Way at the bottom of the task list.

It wasn't windy by Kansas standards that day. This thing's gonna pack a wallop at the end of a run.

EXCELLENT!! Your missing something else on the pack. Two male snap ends for your chute cable end. :D:D That's just cool there. Wind? What wind? :p Lippy

I bet I can find some snaps to fit. :)

I forgot to mention how much our kids were laughing as I was getting drug along. Kendra, who took the pictures, saved my bacon by running around, pulling the center of the chute and deflating it.

that is just rad, Kerry. I really love the chute test in the field.

I also have been getting over a really nasty bug. Had me down all weekend.

Got bored and put in a new front door in the house.
