Interesting. I worked in a Yard in the 70's kind of like that in Wisconsin and when prices went up back then they brought in a Crusher. BOSSES ORDERS. He was not selling many parts on that old stuff, so he needed the money. I am Surprised that this one survived that time.

You've made my eyes hurt from not blinking while I scrolled through...........I'll take a drivers side door off the 31 A coupe. Man it nice to know some one some where saves this stuff....

  6. WOW. He could advertise ,or just list on here and make a fortune.I sure hope everything there finds a home before he passes.Usually when the kids inherit a place like that greed sets in and it gets destroyed. We have a yard here called Watts used parts in conway South Carolina that is a classic parts yard (some 1940`s but mostly 1950`s and 60`s .I am sure when the old man passes it will all be destroyed. If you are nearby stop by watts and check it out.Better call first so they know you are coming as they are farmers and are not there all the time.VERY nice people at Watts. They are a barrel of laughs ,they even have a junkyard cow named judy.Very friendly cow too.

You should find people who have bought cars out of there and collect some photos of currently restored vehicles. That might encourage him to sell more easily.

    That place is cool.

  15. That's actually non-Hamb friendly, by the rear window and engine cooling louvers, it's a '66 or '67. But it doesn't look too bad, you're right...(I've had a few of those, and a couple of crew cabs, too)
    awesome stash of cars !!!!

  16. Great pics surprised he still has so much as high as the price was last year several yards around me were totally eliminated

Lawdy, Lawdy, that is NUTZ! I need to get up there sometime, but it would probably take me a week to get there!

I really need the lower grill in this pic...... If you can help out I would really appreciate it. It looks like its for a '41-42 Dodge pickup.....

I wouldn't mind getting the grill, nose and fenders off this peice too! I also need a windsheild frame for a 39-47 Dodge/Plymouth/Fargo/Desoto truck too!

Please let me know what you can do to help! and thanks for posting!

    Too far?
It's only about 1500 miles---it's like driving to Las Vegas from Texas but easier since it's a straight shot North.
As parts there is absolutely no hassle bringing stuff ove the borderr---just have a receipt, hand written is fine.

  25. Wow, that's awesome! I hope you get to help him sell all that stuff. Inventory it and put up a web site and if it’s priced reasonably it will sell.

I'm looking for the front seat section, (I have doors and cowl) of a 1920's Dodge touring car for a modified. If you could keep an eye out while you're going through all that stuff I'd appreciate it.

Has anybody ever bought anything from him? Whats the prices 1500.00 and up?Ebay prices or swap meet prices? IF its not that bad might be worth the diesel and drive.

  28. Looks to be about 100 miles north of the boarder. Still geographically challenging for most of us.

Returning US made cars or parts into the US isn't an issue at the boarder as Marcy said. Getting it titled could be a more difficult matter.

  29. Nice mess he has there. British Vangaurd pickup and Austin A40 pickup are pretty rare these days.
