Same owner since 1951! He paid $100 for the car (in '51) and the dash is striped by Von Dutch

Thanks for the pics, some cool stuff there. I change that some totally cool cars, I think I'll build a similar RPU to the Ala Kart, not the same but similar.

61TBird ... cool pics ... thanks for sharing!

Looks like the Bay Area Roadsters got preferred parking ... well except they made Varni park his Rolling Bones Tudor against the fence ... those BAR guys are such roadster snobs! :D

The underside of the Ala Cart shows a true attention to detail. Great pic.

You know, I was thinking the exact same thing. I love the color as much as I love the car, but, I don't know much about either.

That is why we originally started the "Alviso Roadsters." The Bay Area and San Jose Roadsters both have their collective noses in the air we decided to thumb our noses at them!

The 40 merc is Don Murray's from Vallejo (he's one of the swanx) he runs a small block ford and built the car in his garage a few years ago using a roof from a 4 dr sedan. Too bad one of his coker radial whites decided to seperate on the way home!!
It's for sale BTW...but sorry I don't have any pics!
