Event Coverage Aces Car Show.......PIctures

Great show guys. The king of knights had a great time. We are putting this show on our anual calendar, thanks again the k.o.k.s.

why is it a few people have to ruin a good event. i mean wtf is going through their heads. car shows are supposed to be low key, and a place to hang with friends,enjoy what everyone brought, and relax. i been Hot Rodding all my life and never saw this kinda shit untill recently.

 

Congrats ( John ) Timebomb!! We missed you man!! My wife and i got there at 2 30 pm and the fight broke out at 2 45 pm, so we didnt see shit! they closed the show down. Such bullshit! Then we went down to Sammy's shop and hung out a bit, met some nice people and had a great time there!!

Too bad some of these car clubs are turning into you know what!! I hope you guys get to put on the show again, next time i'll be there early!!

Thanks to the Aces for putting on another great show. Your DJ was excellent and Atomic 3 was my favorite band of the day. There were a lot of very nice cars out there and i was shocked but pleasantly surprised to win best of show for my 36. Thanks so much for that.

The fight was a real downer that i'm sure you guys were not expecting.

Lastly, the after hours gathering was very nice.

 

maybe we should bring out the dogs to keep the kitty cats away next year!

Looks like a good turnout. I went a few years ago, good show. Couldnt make it this year.

 

That coupe was built by Buddy Dughi{Hot Rod Trio},its a glass body but still a nice car!

Obviously Henry steel would be better, but I really dig the "late '5o's style" and quallity finish. I'm always a sucker for a flamed three window Deuce.

Thanks for posting the pics, some really nice lookin cars. I went to Calif. Screamin, closer to home. Unfortunatly I don't do pictures as good as you guys do.

 

thanks to all the aces for a great show, the fight sucked big time, i would say it only takes a few guys to ruin a great event but when 30 or 40 guys are going at it it's more than a few. hopefully banning these guys from future shows will put things back the way they are supposed to be, a fun time for everyone involved and respect to the host club. hope the city didn't come down to hard on the aces as i'm sure they had nothing to do with the fight.

i wanna hear more about this fight. what happened? how did it start?

 

i don't think the details of the fight need to be broadcast on the www as talking with a few guys who are familiar with the clubs that were in the fight made it sound like they would want the press. it was just stupid and kinda ruined a good show. hopefully those involved can pick up a new hobby and stay away from the car stuff as i don't think they are welcome anymore.

thanks you aces for another great show. congrats to fellow dragouts member timebomb for best custom!! i had a great time, really looking forward to next year. it was nice to see cruzr, 32gal, hoovs42, timebomb, axle, 60'coupe, bigdaddy, the brudwich, roadsterpu, r cole. i'm sure i've left out a few but it was a long day and my memory sucks!!! i left before the fight. hopefully they will either grow up and knock off the tough guy act or just not show up anymore.

 

Thanks Aces! It was a great show (minus the fight, thank fully I left before it went down). I had a blast and up until the shenanigans it was a mellow family friendly show with plenty of cool cars to look at, great music and awesome people. I love this show cuz it is so close to home can't wait til next year... please keep us posted if the city has any repercussions for the fight... Those "tough Guys" need to be banned!

 

Good time, great show...too bad about the "rumble". I look forward to this gathering every year and the Aces are always great hosts. I couldn't stay long but did manage to catch some shots of some of the early arrivals....

Yes, the fight did take away from the whole show. Hope the City lets us continue with the show next year, this was a great show with music and plenty of hot rods. Also the after party was a hoot, and its the first time I have cooked over 60 hamburgers and 30 hot dogs, and no complaints.......
