Rich, how is the fund doing? How about an update? You might post the shirts, stickers & Plaques again for those just coming on..... and some of us need a reminder and nudge from time to time. Or should I have posted this in the OF's?

 

WOOOT! my Girl just called - looks like I'm first to recieve my Plaque! I'll post pics once I get home...damn, now work is gonna drag...

Actually, I think it's farther from Georgia to Maryland than it is to Texas.

Well now, since there was no prize, congratulations on sending the first photo of the goodies.

Note that our fine USPS delivered the packet to California in less than three days.

The challenge was for the first photo of the plaque or stickers installed on a Hot Rod, Custom or ace Car.

Still waiting, still no prize!

Got mine today... put it in the car already... I will see it everytime I get in the car... Thanks to everyone that put this together and the guys that have contributed...

 

Rich I was figuring the time zone difference, you know his mail would be an hour ahead of mine, and he would probably be home an hour before I would get home. All just fun and games.

Just got home and mine was waiting in the mail. Thanks, let's keep this rolling and not stop with a few stickers and a plaque. I have more work next week and hope to have some funds to send on down. Why wasn't I born rich?

Patiently awaiting for my plaque and t-shirt in TEXAS...................

 

For all who ordered both plaques and shirts, they will be shipped together once they shirts arrive from Ken at Oddrodgarage. I've decided to do it this way to keep the shipping expenses to a minimum.

For the record, and not to be thought of as presenting a guilt trip, orders and donations have come to a screaming halt. The last was placed on April 28th, over a week ago. I still have aprox. 120 plaques available out of the 250 produced. I will be modifying the number of T-Shirts produced to reflect the number of orders I have in hand at the end of next week.

This program cannot and should not go on forever. I need to complete it so I can send the money generated to the Dunn family by the end of June.

Rich, I still contend that as soon as these items appear at the first big event you will be swamped.

That is my theory and I am sticking to it.

I got my stuff yesterday. So far, I have the plaque haning off the tool box in the garage so Andy can see the stuff in there and check out what comes through the doors. The decals will get on the cars later, the plaque doesn't have a 'home' yet, but the garage might be just a cool of a spot.

If anyone is wanting some decals but is short on funds, contact Rich Venza-I will cover decals and shipping on the first three sets requested.

If no-one takes me up, I will just have to put the money towards some other HambAndy stuff for myself. Not that I mind the latter, but I would just as soon have his memory/spirit spread around. I'll let the offer ride until the end of May, after that my order goes in.

No guilt, just trying to spread the good stuff.

Should be printing up a sample shirt either Monday or Tuesday...trying to capture as much detail as possible from Guiseart's amazing work...really hard to get a good scan/image from the tile but it looks pretty good from the email my artist/graphics guy just sent me...I will post up a pic as soon as it comes off the press...

Donations continue to come in at a pretty slow but constant pace. By the end of this week the Memorial Fund should be just under $7,000. There will be some expenses for shirts and postage to come off the top, but once I have photos of the shirts, I'm sure we will be able to blow the top off the goal of $10K.

I may have some items available at the Hot Rod Reunion in Bowling Green, KY the weekend of June 19-21. All sales there must be in cash.
I will have my Fiat Comp Coupe "Pinocchio" in the pits with the cracklefest participants.Be sure to stop by and introduce yourselves, even if you don't make a donation.

I would like to be able to wrap the project up no later than the end of June.

Yes...when shirts, plaques and stickers were ordered together, I will ship all in one package. This will cut down on expenses and put more into the Fund to send to the Dunns.
