All you really need to know is 6.52 but you should be able to google it.

Are you familiar with www.cal-look.com/ or www.thesamba.com/ ? I haven't tried posting traditional hot rods & dragsters on their sites but I can guess what their reaction might be. Having owned quite a few VW's over the years, if I desire to see what's happening in VW land I usually head over there for any information. Thanks.

I have a garage full of VW magazines but I don't feel the need to post it on this site as that's not what this site is about. If I were to post VW dragsters I would probably post up pictures of some of the early stuff. I have no problem with the Paradise Dragster but I just think it's way off topic. I know VW"s held lots of records in the gas classes & those cars are far more appropriate here. How about some pictures of the Schley Brother's "Lightning Bug" or Doug Gordon's "Underdog" ? I'm not trying to upset you but this thread really isn't the place for this stuff.

Ted Harbit, who is now 74, has been racing his Studebaker, the Chicken Hawk, for 47 years. Sunday at Muncie Dragway they were running the 1/8 because of the wind. Ted had an oil leak, I understand, and got oil under the rear tires. The Hawk barrel rolled and ended up against the left lane scoreboard. Ted will spend about a week in the hospital but I'm hearing he will be OK.

Man that Stude took a hard hit, the scoreboard looks like it was pretty sturdy too. I'm glad he's going to recover.
