Who's going to Back to the Beach (Ventura)

I'm not doing Santa Maria this year. Decided to save the cash and spend the following weekend by the beach much closer to home.

So who's going????

Cool. I was a little worried that BTTB would be a little lite considering it was moved to the weekend just after SM.

 

Actually, I think the opposite is true. I've heard from a LOT of people that are NOT doing S.M. because BTTB is just a few days later, it's closer, and cheaper.

This show, Even though its a Fair Grounds show, Is WAYYYY Better than Santa Maria will ever be.

I have done this show since the 1st one, I have done Paso for over 15 years, And after doing Santa Maria last year ... The Beach is More show than S/M could even Try to be.

The Town in nicer & more close night for the Night Before & actually for those who stay over ... Old Town Ventura is 2 blocks from the show & MUCH Cleaner than S/M.

Come on guys.... What's up with everyone trashing Santa Maria? We all know it's not PASO and it more than likely never will be. PASO is gone. Let's all try and make SM the best we can.... Let's make it better rather than all tear it down so nobody want's to go and then where does that leave us??

 

I'm going to both. I love both Shows. 3 days @ S.M. maybe Sunday @ Ventura.
I like to eat a sandwich on the beach, there's a couple of old trucks or cars buried there just breaking the surface, you can see and old engine block and some old wood spoke wheels! Can't wait.

 

Ventura is the new Paso, see you there.
