Sonny, I notice how you render Rat Fink all family-friendly and innocent looking. I know Ed advocated for a Mormon-style Rat and you have succeeded.

    Here's a quickie doodle I did recently.

When I started doodling I had no idea where I was going with this. Just a little phone conversation sketch for fun. No specific body style in mind either, hence the Plymouth/Chevy/ Olds/? look.

Think about Johnny Cash's song when you look at this ('50, '51, '52, '53...).

Larry, your finished mechanical art is unbelievable, but man . . . your pencils are worthy of a book. After last week, I'm up to page 3. Thanks for sharing, long live #2 Ticonderoga !!

Thanks for the compliments all. It always makes it easier when you have a great subject to work with. It really is an outstanding engine, block, Intake, carbs, ect... Every square inch sanded and polished, even the floats in the carbs. "Wow" in person.

This years Beatersville poster, yeah, I finished it a couple of weeks ago but I've been to busy to post. Nothing too big, screen printed on coverstock.
