    Anyone know anything about Pribble?

I've got a set of the covers, and have never been able to figure out the history on them. They came off a 331 that was supposedly out of a 34 3 window, around Long Beach somewhere.

They sure look like the ones on this motor...

i am pretty sure they are for a boat .i forgot i have also seen edelbrock exhaust manifolds for a boat but there was something about them that you could not use them on the street.

  5. Not my stuff, belongs to Squeak Bell. I'm pretty sure the manifolds are Marine.

  6. I checked and they will interchange, the electronic units are not quite as tall as the real mags and have that billet looking base without a oiler, you can modify and hide the wiring...:D

great link beatnik--forgot about that one.

I think the timing covers were only marine applications. unless i missed it I didn't see any of the aluminum single 4bbls listed in your stuff--seen a few marine versions there too.

  8. I have a Caddy intake from lakeheaders.com . I believe this intake is the same one pictured on the hotrodcaddy.com/speed_parts.htm website because I purchased it off ebay around that time. This manifold is built to replicate the Weiand Drag star intake. I have never used it(just bolted it on my engine while on the stand) Has some light surface rust in places would come off easily with steel wool. This intake was built to run the two center carbs... all 4 outer carbs run as dummies, but it can be bored out to make it completely functional. Flanges are 3 bolt pattern for Stromberg carbs. I paid over $500 for this manifold. $350 + shipping and it is yours. Contact me here or call me at home (509) 624-3176 Jim

Kiwi Kev, those pics made my ticker skip a little. All I ever find at the swaps is chrome misc....but at least I can dream, if I can get to sleep.

Old thread but wanted to show what Street Rodders like to get rid of... all is NOS. He even threw in a complete 52 331, and Lasalle top loader.

Anybody got any info on the magspark distributor?

I posted a thread on the whole old Hildabrandt catalog thread a while back if anyone wanted to look at some cool pics.

Anybody know the history of PRIBBLE. Did they only make Cadillac valve covers? Are they in any way related to Hidabrandt?

i swear there's a company reproducing this stuff. think i might have seen it on the hot rod magazine website? or maybe i'm just thinking of all the caddy 500 racing crap i've seen cropping up the past little bit.

What stuff exactly? The valve covers? The
only thing I know are being reproduced are the offenhauser and moon valve covers, eelco and moon valley covers and maybe some other things but not much.

They've been selling them on ebay for quite a while.

I've got a polished lowrise Cragar 6x2 that's going on top of my '60 390 motor. I've seen very few of these manifolds. I'll post pics when I dig it out of storage next weekend.

I don't think anyone is repopping early caddy intakes. But jfrolka is making his own 4 carb logs. And of course there is the u-fab ones.
