I get it, I'm just into gassers and diggers

I love the idea behind this site, traditional stuff is rare to see. Chopped, channeled, sectioned, scot blowers, strombergs, tank pumps, and bomber seats are very, very bichin'......but injected nailheads, hemis with magnetos, halibrands, jimmy blowers, and teardrop hoods do it for me. Dad had a double whammy model kit when I was a kid, that's when I got the studebaker bug. I am building a '55 60's drag style but only 1 or 2 people around here give a ****. Maybe you guys will.

G***ers were the reason I found this site - How funny that you want to build a Stude. Here was my 1939 Studebaker Champion g***er ( pictures were way before I owned it, but other than it being black and a 4-71 blown 350, It was pretty much the same.) Way cool! glad to meet you!

I put pictures in my profile. Don't expect too much, the body is on a cart and the frame is in another town.

 

I need some nice small port 331 hemi heads for my intake if anyone can help in north central Ohio. This is for my next project. Thanks.

 

Got booted from the hamb for 10 days, thought I would stick to the new guy board for a while. Here are some pictures of my project. I dragged the frame back home today and ground my welds smooth. I have to reinforce the center crossmember because it was cut out to take a 1 piece driveshaft. Ladder bars should be mocked up in a couple weeks. I'll post pics when I get that far.

Yeah, me too, that's what makes it fun though. If everyone got it, everyone would do it. I saw a car today with weld pro stars and a flathead....very confusing to say the least.
