Dateline 1959 :

59 Cadilac and the CF-105 AVRO Arrow .

 

Love the old drive-in pics, really neat with some history to go along with them. I stil remember the first "Burger Basket" I had as a kid at the local "Dog-n-Suds" drive-in, Eau Gallie, Fla. Circa 1961. My father-in-laws family lives in louisburg, NC also. Their last name is NASH. Her uncle, Pete Burnett, Had an old Texaco station there . He recently passed.

 

OK, that's pretty awesome.

 

Plus she's holding a black cat.

that's a recent picture with the '59 caddy and a replica of the awsome Arrow. the real ones were all destroyed by their a-hole prime minister back in the day. contemporary clothing on viewers gives it away.

The AVRO Arrow is a pic I took May 23rd 2009 at the Canadian Air and Space Museum while attending their "Wings and Wheels" show with my 57.
