A bit OT, but in 1959 I hit a large salvage yard in Quincy, Mass looking to buy a damaged Triumph TR-3. Found a suitable car and made the deal. It was a high speed roll over wreck. Got it home and started to pull it apart for the engine and transmission. There were dried blood stains on the seat and carpet. No big deal. But, when I pulled the passenger seat out there was a foot!!
A FOOT!!
Skin was shriveled up, bone pieces sticking out.
A FOOT!!
To top it all off it was in a black Converse sneaker. Not something a 15 year old forgets quickly. (shivering as I recall the episode)

The things you find in cars that tell you a LITTLE about the previous owners.... I just bought a 63 Nova & this was under the front seat.

My buddy hauled in a car that used to belong to a local guy who got ran over by a grader while saving his son from the same fate. The guys headstone was in the trunk......
