Ya that struck me as ood as well....

Has mounts for the front fenders....to comply with the law.... but no tailight holes...

When you say two 32 frames...do you mean they used it to step the rear or lenghten the front.?

The frame are like a z in the rear. I did have the gas tank on top fo the rear axel.
And it have a safety ring in the x member. I did run whit open drive shaft.
swing pedals. The radiator fitt a stock shell, and it mount in front of the front member.

Seems the East Coast influence is prominent in Australian and New Zealand rods as well.

The original builder... Ted Hoy and his family are coming this weekend to see it for the first time since the early 1980,s

this car reminds me a bit of my 32, it came with a 1960 home built title. flat firewall, swing pedals, rough channel job. (mine had a plywood floor!) mines a 5 window with the top cut off though...

I want to know WHY did they cut the drip rails off the sides! did the same thing on mine....

also, maybe they mounted the tail lights to nerf bars or the fenders??

That is the way we Zee'd the frame in the 50's, cut it on a angle and set the rear section on top then fish plate. When you channel 6" it gives you a 12" drop, if your frame is 6" wide. I'll try to find mine being welded up.

    Awesome.
I assume, since you didn't mention them, you actually like the fenders?

I should add mine. there wasn't a ton of channelled and unchopped 32 sedans on the east coast in the 1950's. It was started by Tiny Brown in 1953 and sold to John Otis in 1956. John finished it and owned for almost 40 years. They were both founding members of the Flywheels Autoclub out of Braintree MA.

I love Mustang tailites. :D They put the sunroof into the original top insert!! What about the Cragars and the reverse big and littles? 70s series in the front 60s in the back! I bet this car was cool before somebody "updated" it?
