Bluto will know! Really nice lights, check the treads when you get them, my guess is they are European.

  8. run the "bakelite" parts under hot water. if it smells bad, it IS bakelite. best way to tell

  9. They look like side lights from a French car. Lots of French cars had them on the rear side roof panel just behind the last side window. All Citroen Traction Avant had them but these look older. That squiggly little S under the point is probably the trade mark.

They are Cool, But the pic makes them Look to small for TailLights.

Maybe some Nice Dim Interior light's in a small Coupe.

Just for that glowing look at night when you go Park'in with the Girl Of your Dreams ...

I've been looking for a business from a fellow that deals in highend collector car lights at Hershey. When I find it I'll let you know.:)

  25. Zepplin side marker lights.

Seriously though I thought the same as Litlle Wing, maybe off an old airplane. Or Dolly Parton's tour bus.

the BEST way to check to see if they are bakelite: spray them with 409 (the cleaning product) get regular ol' 409 (no special "xtra strength yo mamma" shit) if its bakelite, no matter what color the bakelite is, the 409 will drip YELLOW. and theres no mistaking it....we're talkin bright-ass, neon "just came off a 3 day coke binder piss color" yellow. awesome lights by the way.

If I was trying to identify them, I'd want to know the material. It could be a clue to narrow down the year of manufacture.
