I posted these family pictures years ago on the original hamb board. My father-n-law was a member of the Pharaohs in Toledo back in the mid 50's

 

This truck looks very similiar to one I have seen floating around some of the west coast shows. Very cool!!

For the studebaker guys: From the City of Vernon's city hall. Too bad the pic doesn't show all the detail. Pin-stripped suites, perfect hair. Damn they had style back then.

 

You are right on about "style". Somewhere, we seem to have lost our way...

Sad ending to a truck I went on many service calls in.

 

Pacific Avenue at Kearny (foreground), San Francisco. Strip clubs, whorehouses, etc., etc., and no, it no longer exists as it was. Today Pacific Avenue is just another blah downtown street.
