So many cool ideas, and lots of great cars. The metal flake paint tip was excellent! Now ....I see alot of flat paint, so i need another ..,hint. How do you do matte finish?

  2. Don´t add highlights or reflections to the paint.
    Study photos of matt cars.
    Copy them.

Just a heads up to the folks using GIMP. Gimp-Savy.com is a great source to help you learn GIMP. Click on BOOK in the left side of the home page and you'll find the index for the book. The book is Grokking the Gimp(retarded name to go with the retarded name GIMP:D) It pertains to an older version of GIMP, but you'll be able to figure out what the author is talking about. It's just a good resource for learning the basics. Hope it helps!:)

It may take a couple of days for someone to do your car. Especially with the complicated Watson design you asked for.

It takes time to change a car and the more you want done the longer it can take. I spend between 12 and 16 hours doing cars for my friends. Also try a simpler paint program, photoshop is pro software and can be very tough to get your head around. I use Paint Shop Pro and it is very user friendly.

Paint shop pro? any ideas where i can get it online? and thanks for the heads up on time. I wasnt complaining, i understand this is work. but i didnt ask just the other day lol. i actually asked a few weeks ago too. But its cool, Watson style graphics arent as easy as a simple two tone, i get it.

I use Corel Paint Shop Pro 9, and while it's not as expensive as Photoshop, it's not exactly free either...you can find used copies on Amazon for as low as $55. It's not as hard to learn, and there are many tutorials available online:D

I got a challenge for you guys: could someone find a decent pic of a '69 Impala Custom Coupe and give it Astros, satin black paint, and maybe a silver 'flaked roof? If you can do all that, you're my hero. I would give you a pic of mine, but I don't have any good quality ones right now, and besides, mine's all rusted and beat to hell!
