Heres a little mild custom 51 Chevy that Joe the Gindo built as a stress reliever from working on his other projects. This little number has a little fuel injected 350/350 with en El Camino rear. As for the good stuff, its nosed, decked. The headlights are frenched and the taillights are 50 Olds. The upper grille bar is now pat of the car and thee skirts have the much needed downward extention. The sidetrim is whatever it is and a ton of other miscellaneous trinketry has been shaved . Lastly the striping was done by yours truly. Enjoy! Anyone close by got any 1 piece bumpers?
That's a great looking car. Real clean and simple, no extra nonsense. I like it. Your striping is out of control
Thanks, the first pic clicks real big! if ya click on it again. I forgot to mention, the shirts have been extended downward toward the floor. Heres Stacy the Gindo grinding down her first welds ever on the skirts.
very nice. never seen the grille/hood done like that before. that's some nice striping you did there. bet you've done it a couple times before.
Nope...4 month lay off no striping. The work actually lacks fluidity and has alot of hiccups but by the time Im ready for the trunk Ill be back in top form. I think the suspect design structure lends itself to that "best striping 1958 had to offer look"
Yeah, thanks for the compliments on the striping. As far as the ones on the car, Ill p*** em along. The guy never goes on the inernet .Hell, hed rather work on cars than drive em. Hes been to about 3 shows in the past 5 years.
Car looks great! I was going to do a post to ask, but you mentioned an elcamino rear.... what year was it?and was it a direct bolt in?
Very nice car, and great striping, as usual, Anthony! Get him going on that Merc of yours if he likes working so much!
