This thread will have lots of additions I'm sure, the '32 Tudor on the Coupe thread is one that comes to mind.

Heck..if those were close to me and getting parted out..i would be all over that

  16. yeah, that sucks. you got to be extra careful out there when driving..there are a lot of bad drivers. i blame it on the poor drivers education system we have, here in MN it's 5 hours behind the wheel and a test. we need to raise the bar for people who get a drivers license. and a lot of drivers are also distracted with cells phones , i- pods , GPS , etc

my `36 was almost added to that group twice last Saturday...i swear that woman in the VW jetta that came into my lane missed me by only 3 inches

A good reason to insure your vehicle to the max and if your in FL have non-insured motorists coverage too. 1/3 of folks here don't have insurance.

read the fine print on your non insured coverage policy. It almost never covers your car, just personal injury.

Back to the regularly scheduled program.

Ouch. A friend of mine just finished his mild custom 49 shoe box he spent years and $ building.i did the body work and told him to fix the brakes and steering but he never got around to it. The first day out driving his brakes failed and he rear ended a car bad.yikes never put off something like brakes and steering.

Too much crying over spilt milk

Know why those cars were wrecked? Cause they were out being used as cars. And sometimes, that's what happens to cars. Frankly if you ain't tearing one up every now and then you're not enjoying them to their fullest.

They're all just buckets of bolts people. Buckets of bolts

As a kid, grew up around the corner from the local impound and would spend hours staring thru the fence at fresh wrecks. Fascinating stuff, thanks for posting!
